EXPENRIMENTAL STUDY ON THE BEARING CAPACITY OF EXISTING REINFORCED CONCRETE MEMBERS

A set of experiments have been carried out to study the aged existing reinforced concrete members.The strength properties and the failure behaviors of members with flexure and eccentic compressive load have been studied.According to the test results,a method of vealuating of evaluating the bearing capacity for these members is given in this paper.These studies provide scientific basis to the drawing of related stipulation, evaluations and strengthening of aged existing structures.
