SULPHATE ATTACK OF HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE ON THE ACTION OF PRE LOADING

The properties of high strength concrete(HSC) and steel fiber reinforced high strength concrete(SFRHSC)is studied by the effect of load and sulphate attack in this paper.The test specimens have been immersed in the 5.0% sodium sulphate solution for 120 days under the different pre loading level.The results show that the properties of concrete under sulphate attack are declined very quickly and worse with pre load effect There are no obvious influence on the properties of the specimens under the action of the same level load only. The properties of concrete are improved by steel fiber at a certain extent under the action of the stress corrosion.
