Development and Application of Chemiluminescence Method in Antibiotic Analysis

Chemiluminescence assay is a rapid, highly sensitive method based on the principle that a chemical reaction releases energy and as a result generates electromagnetic radiation as light which can be measured quantitatively. In recent years, this analytical method has been widely used in the areas of pharmaceutical, biochemistry, food science and microbiology studies et al. In this review, the latest applications of chemiluminescence in antibiotic-analysis in recent years were summarized.
