Extraction and content determination of polysaccharides from Fructus Mori

Objective To study the extraction and determination of polysaccharides from Fructus Mori. Methods The polysaccharide was extracted by ultrasonic extraction technique,and the polysaccharide content was determined by phenol- sulfuric acid method. Results The linear relationship of concentration and absorbance of glucose was 0.01-0.06 mg/mL,and the regression equation was A=7.234 6C-0.008 1(r=0.999 7),the average recovery was 98.92%(n=6,RSD=3.50%),and the polysaccharide content of Fructus Mori was 9.42%. Conclusion This method is simple,high sensitivity and reliable,which can be used for the determination of polysaccharides inFructus Mori.
