Analyese on Variation Characteristics of Atmospheric Pollutant in a Group of Cities in Central Liaoning from 1987 to 2002

Based on the monitoring data of atmospheric pollution(TSP, PM10, SO-2, NO-X) in a group of cities of central Liaoning(Shenyang, Anshan, Benxi, Fushun and Liaoyang) during the period of 1987_2002, the conditions of atmospheric pollution in a group of cities of central Liaoning are analyzed. The results show that the main atmospheric pollutants there are TSP and SO-2. The atmospheric pollution in winter is the most serious in a year; and in summer, the most light. The change trend of TSP, PM-{10} and SO-2 in 5 cities in 1987_2002 has been decreasing year-to-year, the interannual changes of NO-X are not obvious. The atmospheric polltion in Benxi is the most serious in the group of cities, then it is Anshan, Shenyang, Fushun and Liaoyang in the order.
