Application of respones surface method for optimal concentration of culture medium for microorganisms

The response surface method (RSM) was firstly applied to determine and optimize the components of the culture medium for the two selected strains. The enzyme activities of fumarase under the optimum conditions for B. ammoniagenes MA 2 and B. flavum MA 3 were 27.88ⅹ10 3 μmol/g.h and 32.26ⅹ10 3 μmol/g.h respectively, which were higher than those reported in the literature.
