A Following-up Study on the Self-insight of Schizophrenic Patients

Objective:To explore the change of self insight of schizophrenic patients.Methods: 96 cases of schizophrenic inpatients according to CCMD 2 R were assessed before the treatment and in the 6 th ,8 th and 10 th weeks Post treatment with BPRS and ITAQ(Insight Treatment Attitude Questionaire).The results were analyzed statistically Results: Psychotic symptoms of the inpatients were improved at the 6 th week after the treatment.Insight was recovered in some inpatients but not in the others. A comparison of insight assessment showed statistical difference between the records before and after the treatment.(P0.05).Conclusions: Insight in some schizophrenic inpatients was recovered but for some patients,it was not changed.The recovery of insight in schizophrenic inpatients was stable.
