Objective To study the effect of Wubaoniang on immunological function and acute toxicity in mice. Methods The methods of the weight of mice's immune organs, peritoneal macrophage phagocytic capacity were taken to assess the effect of Wubaoniang on immunological function of normal mice and mice with immunosuppression caused by cyclophosphamide, and the acute toxicity was detected by intragastric administration Results Wubaoniang could significantly increased the weight index of thymus on normal and immunity deficiency of mice(P0.05),increase erythrocytes of chicken phagoctic percentage and phagocytic index of phagocyt immunity deficiency of mice(P0.05),obvious toxic reaction was not observed and the maximum tolerant dose was 12.2 g/kg for mice in acute toxicity experiment. Conclusion Wubaoniang could enhance the immunological function and is favorable safe.
