This thesis is based on principal component analysis and chooses the China Health and Nutrition Survey data which includes nine provinces from 1989 to 2009. We choose ten indexes in four dimensions and use the non-equal weight method to analysis the dynamic multidimensional poverty during different periods. Moreover,we further analyze the relationship between per capita income and the multidimensional poverty index. Research shows that Henan province is the most serious income poverty and second is the Guizhou province and Guangxi province. Jiangsu province and Shandong province have the lowest income poverty. However, from the view of multidimensional poverty reduction,Hubei province has the most obvious decreases, and not Jiangsu and Shandong. The lowest is Liaoning province. Hunan province is the lowest in multidimensional poverty. Therefore, there exist a weak correlation between the multidimensional poverty and household income.
