Synthesis of Dialkyl Quaternary Ammonium Bromides and their Inhibiting Effect to Aquatic Pathogenic Bacteria

The two dialkyl quaternary ammonium bromides with different chain lengths were synthesized by bromoalkane in this paper,and their inhibiting effects to aquatic pathogenic bacteria were also tested by double dilution method in tubes.The results showed that both dialkyl quaternary ammonium salts can restrain the growth of aeromonas hydrophila and flexibacter colnmnaris,and the short one was more effective than the long one while comparing their inhibiting effects to aquatic pathogenic bacteria.
