Preparation of Biodiesel under Microwave Irradiation from Sunflower Oil by Solid Super Acid TiO_2/SO_4~(2-)

The biodiesel fuel was a green renewable energy resource.Transesterification of sunflower oil using solid super acid TiO2/SO42-as catalyzer under microwave irradiation to prepare biodiesel was studied.The influences of catalyst amount,reaction time,microwave power and ratio alcohol oil on the yields were investigated.Then orthogonal experiment was used to optimize the synthesis process that can gain the perfect technological condition.It was as follows: n(methanol): n(oil)=12:1,m(catalyst): m(oil)= 0.02,m(Microwave)p(power)=300 W and reaction time 25 min,yields of biodiesel could reach about 94.3 %.
