Preparation of ZnO Nanoparticles by Homogeneous Precipitation

Wang Sai Zhou Ying Tang Lin Li Qing(Institute of Science Department,Central South University of Forestry & Technology,Changsha,Hunan 410006)  
In the process of preparation of nano-ZnO by the homogeneous precipitation method,the average size of ZnO is mainly influenced by concentration of reactants,temperature in the reaction process and adding of different surfactants.The optimum conditions were obtained by experiments as follows:Zn(NO)_2 0.6~0.8 mol/L,CO(NH_2)_2 2.6~2.8 mol/L,reaction temperature 95℃,adding surfactants.ZnO with a size of 40~70 nm was obtained.
