Development of Molten Slag Dry Granulation and Heat Recovery

DU Bin,LUO Guang-liang,JIANG Rong-quan(Tianli Drying Co.,Ltd,Shangdong,Jinan,250014,China)  
The current status of the recovery and utilization of molten slag(including blast furnace slag and steel slag,etc).Three kinds of dry granulation processing technology,including drum granulation,air blast granulation and centrifugal granulation are summarized.The advantages and the disadvantages of various treatment processes compared in the present discussion.The technology of sensible heat recovery of molten slag by chemical means and physical means are introduced.It is found that centrifugal granulation has the best effects of granulating and sensible heat recovery of molten slag.It will be a mainstream process of the recovery and utilization of molten slag.
