Study on the Diurnal Change Characteristics of Transpiration Rate, Leaf Water Potential and Their Correlations in Occident Cherries

CHENG Fang(The Administrative Bureau of Xishui Nature Reserve,Xishui,Guihzou 564600)  
The transpiration rate,leaf water potential and stem velocity of occident cherries in the same environment were measured and analyzed.The results showed that the diurnal change curves of transpiration rate were of the midday-depression type and the daily variation of stem velocity was U-inverse kurtosis.Correlation analysis showed that stem velocity and leaf water potential had a remarkable correlation with transpiration rate.
