The Yelang Kingdom and the Yi People

CHEN Shi-peng(College of Cultural communication,Guizhou University for Ethnic Minorities,Guiyang,Guizhou Province 550025)  
This paper attempts to show that the Yi people established the Yelang kingdom,based on the Han and Yi literatures concerned and archaeological findings,and explore the significance of the burial with the head of the corpse specially decorated.
