On Social Functions of Customary Law of Minorities

LIU Xiao-ming Guizhou Institute for Nationalities, Guiyang, Guizhou 550025, China  
This paper, on the base of the fundamental characteristics of customary laws, stud- ies their functions in the regulation of minorities' production and living, and the relationship be- tween them and the state law. The paper points out that the positive functions should be kept on in their societies while the negative ones be removed as many as possibly.
