Analysis of Chinglish Committed by Non-English Majors

Chinglish is the result of interference of Chinese language and culture,it is often committed by students of non-English majors in their translation,composition and speech.It is believed that Chinglish is the main obstacle in the process of acquiring real English,worst of all,it may give rise to intercultural miscommunication.According to the samples collected from students'translation,writing and speech,this paper analyzes the characteristics and causes of Chinglish from the aspects of vocabulary,syntax and the aspect of pragmatics,meanwhile,some suggestions about college English teaching are put forward.
