Study on the methos of extracting pectin from the cactus

This paper studied the methods of extracting pectin from the cactus by saltin-out agent. By means of measuring the pectin content and the extration efficiency in differnt conditions, the optimum technical condition that the pectin can be extracted from the cactus was decided. By means of comparing the effect of different decolorant agent on pectin, the result showed that the effect of oxydol was good and the technics was ehablished.
