Extraction of Stachyose from Radix rahmanniae by Magnetization Technology

According to traditional Chinese medicine decoction method, stachyose in Radix rehmanniae was extracted by magnetic water. The response surface methodology was used to analyze the effects of magnetization intensity, magnetic time, extraction time and ratio of liquid/solid on the extraction rate of stachyose in Radix rehmanniae. The optimum conditions were determined as follows: magnetization intensity 0.2878T, magnetic time 74.34 min,extract time 1.96h and ratio of liquid/solid 1:11. Under these conditions the rate of extract was 28.20% and content of stachyose was 48.12%, which were higher by 40.02% and 20.27% respectively than those with direct extract method of water.
