In vitro Inhibition Effect of Glycosaminoglycan from Perna viridis on the Growth of Human Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Cell CNE-2Z

The rough glycosaminoglycan was extracted from the whole viscera of Perna viridis and was purified by isoelectric precipitation. Its anti-tumor effect of RG on human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2Z in vitro was analyzed by MTT colorimetric method.Results showed that the content of glycosaminoglycan of refined product(RG)was 52.3%.The anti-tumor effect of RG ranged with the its concentration.And the highest rate of anti-tumor(29.3%)was reached with a treatment by 200μg/mL RG for 72 hours.In synergistic inhibition of RG with 5-Fu on tumor was changed simple addition effect with the prolongation of drug treating time.
