Simultaneous Determination of PG,TBHQ,BHA,OG and BHT in Oils

A HPLC method was developed for the simultaneous determination of the concentrations of tertiary butylhyroquinone(TBHQ),propyl gallate(PG),octyl gallate(OG),butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT) in oils.Oil samples were analyzed at 280nm using methanol and 1% acetic acid as mobile phase for gradient elution.The column temperature,flow rate and injection volume were 35 ℃,1.0 mL/min and 5 μL,respectively.The recoveries of the five compositions were from 90.7%-102.0% with relative standard deviation being less than 2.50%.
