ULTRASHORT OPTICAL PULSE GENERATION THROUGH PULSE COMPRESSION AND ULTRAFAST STIMULATED RAMAN SCATTERING IN SINGLE-MODE FIBERS

In this paper,we describe the methods and principles of ultrashort optical pulse generation through pulse compression and ultrafast stimulated Raman scattering in single-mode fibers,review in detail the progress,and show our latest achievements in this field.Finally,some suggestions for efficiently generating ultrashort optical pulses in single-mode fibers are presented.
