Design of the Tunable Photonic Crystals Filter Based on Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal Defect

QIAN Xiang-zhong(School of Physics and Electron Information,Wenzhou University,Zhejiang Wenzhou 325027,China)  
Base on one-dimensional photonic crystals infiltrated by ferroelectric liquid crystal defect films,which molecular director changed by electric field,the fast tunable photonic crystals filter was proposed.The spectrum transmission was obtained using the transfer matrix method.The effect of voltage and liquid crystals material parameters on tunable filter transmission spectrum was numerical calculated.The results show that the transmission peak wavelength,intensity,multi-channel and band wide easily vary with voltage,have good filtering.
