Effects of Erzhiwan on the Na~+-K~+-ATPase,Ca~(2+)-ATPase Activities and Learning Memory in Mice model of Alzheimer Disease

Objective: To observe the effects of Erzhiwan on the Na~+-K~+-ATPase,Ca~(2+)-ATP ase activities and learning memory in mice model of Alzheimer Disease.Methods: The mice were performed by neck back hypodermic injection of D-galactose to set up the subacute Alzheimer Disease model,tested for learning memory by the method of diving platform,and determined for the Na~+-K~+-ATPase Ca~(2+)-ATPase activity in their brain tissues.Results: Erzhiwan could obviously shorten the latency of learning period,prolong the incubation period of memory and reduce the times of mistakas.Conclusion: Erzhiwan can improve the learning memory of Alzheimer Disease mice,raise activation of ATPase and maintain the normal function of the brain tissues.
