Objective To find out the DPOAES characteristic in hyperlipidemia guinea pigs. Methods 20 guinea pigs of high blood lipid and normal blood lipid were measured with DPOAE separately. Results the DPOAE amplitudes in two groups were 100% measured, the amplitudes of all frequencies in hyperlipidemia group were lower than those in the control group, when above 2kHz, the DPOAE amplitudes trended to increase followed with frequence, the difference at 8kHz were statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion The hyperlipidemia made the decline of DPOAE amplitude (DPOAE is the sensitive index that can find out alteration of OHC early, this was directive significant to measure cochlea' s hearing loss early in clinic.
