GONG Ni-li(School of Chinese Studies,GuiZhou University,Guiyang,Guizhou,550025,China)
"Vitality" is the aesthetic notion with distinctive ethnic features in Chinese traditional art.The combination of "vitality" and "cadence" is a mode of expression of the temperament life with inherent abundance and the nimbus bourn with exterior vivacity. The aesthetic seeking of the fine life with vitality in Chinese traditional music is taken on from characteristic musical words and aesthetic purpose of Chinese music.Chinese traditional music has lively, euphemistical and ornamental rhythm as the main language. Its tune-pattern,rhythm,and the configuration all have polite free characteristics, taking on hearty vital force and neatly verve."The fine life with vitality" causes the aesthetic effect "that the melody is still lingering about long after the performance has finished, and an aftertaste that lingers".It thus arrives to the high perfection that Chinese music reaches out for.
