Clinical analysis of fundal changes in 102 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus

Objective To investigate the fundal changes and correlation factor of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods Fundus of 102 Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was examined from the community clinic,the results of which were analyzed in relation to blood sugar,saccharification hemoglobin,blood pressure,BMI,course of the disease ect.Results Among the type 2 diabetes mellitus 102 cases,fundus showed diabetic retnopathy(DR) in 44 patients(43.14%),including 39(38.23%)at simple DR patients,5(4.90%)at proliferative DR;3(2.94%)at diabetic cataract;6 cases(5.88%)at vitreous opacity;30(29.41%)of arteriosclerosis of retina;course of disease with 5 years,DR morbility rate for 30.4%,5~10years for 57.1%,more than 10 years for 91.7%,DR patients saccharification hemoglobin highter than non-DR patients.notable of difference(P0.05).Conclusion DR morbidity is related to diabetes patients'course of disease and the saccharification hemoglobin goes up,and is the important danger factor that DR occurs.so ws should check fundus periodic in the diabetes Community of prophylactico-therapeutic.
