Phenolic Pollution in Tissue Culture of Sugarcane

Phenolic pollution or browning ln tissue culture of sugarcane is affected by various factors. The browning levels are different as the difference of genetypes,the sources of explants and exogenous hormone, Browning becomes serious while temperature increases. Phenolic pollution can be alleviated or eliminated using medium with different hormone levels by turns in subculture.
