Technique of virus-free meristem tip culture for new sugar cane varieties such as GT21

XIAN Wu,WANG Lun-wang,TANG Shi-yun,LIU Hai-bin(Guangxi Sugarcane Research Institute,Nanning,Guangxi 530007,China)  
Healthy seedlings of GT21 and GT26 were bred to keep good quality by treatment with 52 ℃and 38 ℃ water,virus-free meristem tip and cultivating seedling in factory.The germination rate was influenced by water in heat treatment.The germination rate of GT26 for 10 days treatment reached 90%.Germination of GT26 was faster and stronger than germination of GT21.The sizes of ROC16 and ROC22 apical meristems were slightly large(1 mm),so survival rates of apical meristems reached 80%.4-7 days transfering tube cycle in the vaccinal earlier period effectively reducd phenolic pollution.
