EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON TEMPERATURE FIELD OF DISCONTINUOUS WELDING

An experimental study for hot tap of in-service welding was performed. To get the temperature field of discontinuous welding exactly, thermocouple and IR-image equipment were used. Some suggestions were introduced to remove the extraneous signals in welding. The distribution and changes of temperature and the hardness change of 0Cr18Ni9 were also studied. The results indicated that anti-disturbance measures used in the experiment were available, and the temperature data got from the two data acquisition systems were consistent. Through analysis the experiment data, the distribution and changes of welding temperature field were got, and the hardness of the material in the HAZ increased after welding.
