Synthesis and Evaluation of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer of Paclobutrazol

The molecularly imprinted polymer has been prepared with paclobutrazol,a plant growth regulator,as the template,the mixture of methacrylic acid as the functional monomer and ethylene dimethacrylate(EDMA) as the cross-linker.HPLC was used to study the molecular recognition mechanism.And the experiment investigated the influence of HPLC conditions to capacity factors.The results showed that the MIP had significant molecular recognition ability and it had high affinity for paclobutrazol.
