Investigation of Interfacial Modification for Mg(OH)_2/EVA Nanocomposites

The effect of maleated ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer on mechanical properties and flame retardance properties of Mg(OH)-2/EVA nano-composites was studied.The dispersion and adhesion patterns of the Mg(OH)-2 nano-particles in composites were characterized through TEM and SEM.The results show that the use of MEVA clearly increases mechanical properties and flame retardance properties of composites.When the mass fraction of MEVA is 8%,comprehensive properties of composite is better.
