Energy-saving Analysis on Installation of Soot Blower in 600 MW Boiler

Slagging could happen in area of superheater in 600 MW boilers in Guohua Electric Company when firing Shenhua Coal which is clinkering.Such slagging is harmful for heat transferring which caused lower main steam temperature and higher discharge flue temperature and could influence economy and safety operation of units.Slagging causes were analyzed in this paper and energy-saving analysis was given before and after installation of soot blower.
