Yuan Qin ( Graduate School of Environment, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, Hubei 430074)  
Taking the silty soil in the west Shenzhen City as an object of study,we utilize the scanning electron mi-coscope (hereinafter referred to as SEM) and images - processing techniques of remote sensing software ERDAS combined with the fractal theory for quantitatively analyzing the micropore texture after SEM. We also compare the changes of the micopore fractal dimensions at different depths; analyze the course leading to the changes and explain the abnormal phenomena in calculational process.
