Modeling of Ground Penetrating Radar Based on UPML Boundary Conditions

Absorbing boundary condition(ABC)plays a critical role in numerical modeling of ground penetrating radar(GPR)using finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)method.In this paper,a uniaxial anisotropic perfectly matched layer(UPML)is introduced,which is adapted to simulate ground penetrating radar in lossy medium in the case of that the central frequency of source wave are 100 MHz、500 MHz and 1 000 MHz separately,the results show the global error through the calculation of eletric dipole radiation in two-dimensional space.The method is applied to modeling GPR in several kinds of common model has better effect.
