A Summary on the Study of Distance LearnersDropout at Home and Abroad

The open and distance education wins people's trust and recognition with its open and flexible characteristics.However,the high dropout rate in open and distance education cannot be ignored.Studies on distance learners' dropout started earlier and have formed more mature theories abroad.While domestic study is still in the descriptive stage.Foreign research results have important implications on domestic study.
