A Study and Comparison of Two Approaches of Wind Loading Simulation

When using computer to analyze the dynamic response of structure,the method to treat random wind loading is very important,Monte-Carlo method can be used to simulate the random wind loading.With the classic frequency method,the relation between PSD of wind velocity with PSD of wind load is firstly built in this paper and then a series of simulated wind quasi static loading using Monte Carlo method is produces.At the same time,another non gauss method is offered and the two ways are compared.Finally,based on the wind tunnel test,the two models of wind loading are appraised.
