Study on direct synthesis of ZSM-5 zeolite and its catalytic performance

Without any templates,the ZSM-5 zeolite was directly synthesized by controlling the crystallization conditions,and the synthesized samples were investigated by using XRD,SEM and FTIR.The results indicated a kind of typical ZSM-5 structure.After ion exchance,TG was applied to measure the acidic properties of the ZSM-5 zeolite.The catalytic activity of the synthesized crystals was examined for the aqueous hydroxylation of cyclohexene.The synthesized zeolites shows a relatively high catalytic activity.After 4 h of reaction time,the yield of cyclohexanol is 9.4%,the selectivity of cyclohexanol is kept at 94%.
