Preparation of Oxygenation Taro Starch with Low Oxidation Degree by H_2O_2 Method

An oxygenation taro starch with low oxidation degree was prepared in alkaline medium with taro starch as raw material and 30% hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.The optimum reaction conditions were determined by single factor experiments as follows: the starch mass fraction was 23%,the pH value was 9~10,the oxidant dosage was three drops,the reaction time was 1 h,the reaction temperature was 50℃.Under above conditions,oxygenation taro starch could be obtained with oxidation degree(-COOH) of 0.1295%.
