Determination of Activity Coefficient of Tetra-n-butylammoniumfluoride in DMF

The conductivities of tetra-n-butylammoniumfluoride(TBAF)in DMF were measured by conductivity method at 298.15~343.15 K.The molar conductivities of TBAF in DMF were calculated.The limiting molar conductivities of TBAF in DMF were obtained by extrapolation method according to Kohlrausch empirical formula.The mean activity coefficients of TBAF in DMF were calculated with Debye-Hücker and Osager-Falkenhangen formula.The effect of temperature and concentration on activity coefficient were discussed.The results showed that,the activity coefficient of TBAF in DMF reduced with the increase of concentration and temperature.
