The activities of myeloperoxidase(MPO), phenoloxidase(PO), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase(CAT) were assayed on days 1,3,5 and 7 after the immunological drugs were orally administered to prawn Penaeus chinesis . It is shown from the experimental results that the MPO, SOD and CAT activities in serum of the experimental prawns were much higher than those of the control ones on days 1,3,5 and 7, and the differences between the two activities were very significant; the PO activities in serum and haemocytes of the experimental prawns were much higher than those of the control ones only on day 1, and days 1 and 7, respectively, and the differences between the two activities were very significant.
