Study on Physico-chemical Factors Affecting the Primary Production in the Changjiang River Estuary Area Ⅲ.The composition of Main Water Systems to Supply Phosphate in the Changjiang River Estuary Area

It is shown from the comprehensive study results for water system composition and characteristics in the Changjiang River estuary area that the Changjiang River,Taiwan warm current,cyclonic eddy and the upwelling near 32°N supply abundant phosphate to the Changjiang River estuary area from the east,south,west and north,respectively,and they supply different quantities of phosphate in different periods,modes and intensities.The observed data of physical oceanography,marine chemistry and marine biology have verified that the upwelling occurred in the sea area south of the Changjiang River estuary shallow water area.In this way,the whole phosphate transport process in the Changjiang River estuary area has been displayed,which provides scientific basis for studying the formation cause of phosphate distributions and the phytoplankton growth process in the Changjiang River estuary area.
