Methodology Analysis on Screening of Salt Tolerant Genotypes from Foxtail Millet and other Setaria Species

The species of Setaria are known for drought and salt tolerant and frequentily found growing in salty conditions such as seaside.To effectively screen salt tolerant genotypes of Setaria species,mothodology research were carried out in this paper.The primary result shows that salty water germination method can be used for foxtail millet salt tolerant genotypes screening,but not suitable for Setaria wild species due to their seed dormancy characters.Salty soil bed was used to identify tolerant wild genotypes and some primary result was shown in this paper.
