Study on Selection of Suitable Herbicides for Hybrid Millet

Using Zhangzagu No.8 as the tested material,the effects of 12.5% sethoxydim,44% guyou,72% methoxone,and 2,4-D on the weed control in millet field were studied.The results showed that 12.5% sethoxydim could control grass weeds effectively during 4-leaf stage with the efficiency of 88.63%.72% methoxone could control broadleaf weeds effectively during 4 or 5-leaf stage with the efficiency of 96.75%.The efficiency was enhanced when the two kinds of herbicides were applied.
