Seismic Design of Emergency Sheltering Structures Based on 《Code for Design of Disasters Mitigation Emergency Congregate Shelter》: Taking Tangshan NO. 1 High School stadium as an Example

According to the seismic requirements of 《Code for Design of Disasters Mitigation Emergency Congregate Shelter》,the stadium of Tangshan NO. 1 High School is designed again for its seismic performance being an emergency shelter structures. The lack of the original building such as lateral stiffness and bearing capacity is analyzed in accordance with refuge design requirements. Two reinforcement plans are proposed on the basis of the constant spreadsheet,one install steel supports between surrounding columns,the other should use viscous dampers in structures. The analysis of lateral displacement and bearing capacity in frequent earthquake is carried out using SATWE and ETABS. Then the push-over and inelastic time history analysis are implemented in the structure depended on ETABS and EPDA. The first earthquake-resistant lines by steel support or damper can effectively play to apply to the seismic requirements of emergency sheltering structures.
