STUDIES ON THINNING TECHNOLOGY OF LARIX PRINCIPIS-RUPPRENCHTII

A yield model for sequential estimation of basal area in stand in relation to thinning cut was established by analyzing the response increment. Based on the model, a series of instructions to determine the intensity of tending cut and to predict the yield of goal diameter were put forward. For the studied larix principis - rupprechtii plantation with site index of 10 and stand density of 5550 trees per hectare,the initial stage for thinning -15 years with interval of 5 years and the thinning intensities according to tree number-30. 3%, 17. 1%, 22. 4% and 7. 8%for the consecutive 4 cut were suggested.
