The preliminary studies on diversity and stability of the insect community along expressways

The insect community was investigated about four living conditions which are composed of side slopes,shield slopes,side channel and the marginal protection forest on Shi-An Express.The result shows that there are many differences between species and individual numbers of the insect community in different living conditions.Among the four living conditions,diversity of the side slopes insect community is the biggest and stability is the strongest,follo wed by shield slopes and marginal protection forest,diversity and stability of the side channel insect community is the smallest.
