A STUDY ON OPTIMUM DENSITY OF SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION BLACK LOCUST FOREST IN TAIHANG MOUNTAIN

The soil and water conservation effects of manmade black locust forests with different crown density were studied in Taihang mountain by fixed position comparison test. The results show that the best structure for the soil and water conservation black locust forests is the multi-storied structure formed by tree, shrub, grass and grand cover plant, and the optimum crown density is 06.
