Cy to logical Studies on Paeonia suffruticosa Var. papaveracec in Hen an

Zhang Zanping (Yuxi Agricultural College, Xin'an)  
In this paper, the karyotype and Ag-NORs ana Giemsa C-banding, pattern of P, suf fruticosa var. papaveracec in Henan were reported for the first time. The karyotype are 2n = 2x = 10 = 6m +2Sm + 2St, the number and the location of telomere (T) bands of C-bands show simiarity with Ag-NORs. Therefore, the author proposed that the T band of chromosomes in P. suffruticosa var. papaveracec be naturely the N (NOR) bands ant that the satellite show by normal method be naturely the telomere NOR.
