Amplifying Products from Leymus multicaulis Using Wheat Microsatellite Prime Pairs

227 wheat microsatellite prime pairs were used to amplify products from Leymus multicaulis.81 prime pairs could amplify scorable product.Those primer pairs involved 101 loci,distributing all seven homoeologous groups of wheat.Among them,76 (account for 93.8%)showed polymorphisms among Leymus multicaulis,and the common wheat varies Chinese Spring and Fengkang No 13.The results show wheat microsatellite markers can be used in Leymus multicaulis.That not only widen the application range of wheat microsatellite markers,but also provide the base of researching Triticum aestivum-Leymus multicaulis germplasm accessions with wheat microsatellite markers.
